I have tried all different types of pain medication for my chronic migraines. Nothing helped much except heavy duty narcotics; I cannot use the newer drugs like Imitrex due to my high blood pressure. My neurologist as a last resort suggested I try Petadolex, which is the herb butterbur root. I tried several brands and Migra-Eeze seems to help me more than the others. I tried taking the Petadolex with and without riboflavin. The addition of ginger must be the key as that seems to be the only difference. I do have to say that the capsules are quite large and sometimes have a strong aftertaste when you burp. It was hard to get used to that at first but now I don't mind it at all. It's nowhere close to the aftertaste of fish oil or some other drugs I've taken. To all my fellow migraine suffers, I'm sorry you share my boat and I hope you find relief. This may not be the answer for you but it certainly reduces the amount of pain I have and the frequency of the worst migraines. It's worth a try.
